Almost every day in every organisation we measure, report, analyse, forecast, plan and project on every key facet of business operations except for one – our Human Capital. Why is it that in an increasingly competitive operating environment where labour costs constitute one of the three largest expenditures items incurred each year so little reporting is demanded or provided? Why is it that as labour pools shrink, skill shortages increase and our workforces rapidly age we show only limited interest or concern?
From our experience the answer lies in “the black hole” that exists between CEO’s/Senior Management Teams who are not sufficiently conversant in the reporting they should be requesting and HR Departments that are not sufficiently equipped or resourced to provide the right answers anyway! At Optimum Performance we have made it our central mission is to “fill this hole in” by researching, developing, testing and implementing an integrated set of HR Metrics that enable Line Managers in every organisation to optimise people performance and HR Departments to be truly respected and valued.
Since 1995 we have assisted organisations large and small, private and public sector in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, South East Asia and South Africa to develop their capability and understanding of Analytical HR Management. Complementing our extensive consulting work, we have also collaborated with a diverse range of professional institutes, universities and accredited training providers in designing and facilitating public training workshops attended by hundreds of HR professionals and line managers across four different continents.
